Fragrance notes
Declared fragrance allergens 28
Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Hydroxycitronellal, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Peel Oil, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalyl Acetate, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Citrus Aurantium Peel Oil, Hexadecanolactone, Citrus Aurantium Flower Oil, Eugenol, Vanillin, Citral, Beta-Caryophyllene, Geranyl Acetate, Terpineol, Geraniol, Terpinolene, Camphor, Farnesol, Isoeugenol, Alpha Terpinene, Benzaldehyde, Benzyl Alcohol, Carvone
EU rules require these fragrance components to be named on the label above a small threshold (the list was extended in 2023). They are common in fine fragrance; if your skin reacts easily, spray on clothes rather than skin, or patch-test first.
Shelf life and storage
Most perfumes stay good for years unopened, and usually 3–5 years after opening when kept away from heat and light. Keep the bottle in its box, away from the bathroom and windows. If the colour darkens or the opening smells sharp or sour, it has started to turn. Check the batch code to see when it was made.
