Batch codes can be decodedbeta

Uses the Coty (4-digit date code) format. Results are estimates based on public reports.

No Joop! pack with a printed date has been checked yet. Joop! is made within this group, so its codes are read the same way; treat the date as a rough guide.

At a glance

  • Batch codes can be read as an estimate — e.g. 5303 = October 30, 2025.
  • The brand publishes no unopened shelf life that could be verified (October 2026).

How to read the Joop! batch code

The code is usually printed or embossed on the bottom of the box or bottle, or on the crimped end of a tube. Joop! uses the Coty format. Here is the example code 5303, read the same way the checker reads it:

Part of the codeMeaning
5year
303day of year

Result: 5303 = October 30, 2025

  • The year is a single digit, so this could also be 2015. Retail stock is rarely that old, the most recent match is shown.

Is it the right code?

  • ✓ A batch code looks like 5303: a short code of letters or digits, printed or embossed on its own.
  • ✗ Not the 13-digit barcode number under the stripes.
  • ✗ Not volume, open-jar or recycling marks such as 50 ml or 12M.
  • ✗ Not a shade, refill or product reference number.

How long Joop! lasts unopened

Joop! does not publish an unopened shelf life that could be verified (checked October 2026), and it differs by product, so no date is guessed. Go by the date printed on the pack — on Korean imports the Korean label always has one.

Joop!: confirmed on real packs

No confirmed cases yet. If a Joop! pack shows a printed use-by date, enter the code and that date in the batch code checker to add the first case.
